A must-watch – Australian Story, 7 March

MUST WATCH TV Monday 7 March, 8pm, ABC1
The next episode of ABC Australian Story features Dr Rodney Syme, a long time advocate for assisted dying law reform, currently Deputy President of DwDVic and before that President for many years.

“Australian Story is one of the most watched and well regarded shows on TV. It represents an excellent avenue for promotion and discussion of aspects of dying with dignity and voluntary assisted dying. To this end I have agreed to partake in an episode to be shown on Monday 7th March (ABC1 8pm). Unfortunately, to get a gig, one must expose something of one’s personal life, which I have reluctantly done, in a good cause, I hope. Another key figure in the programme is a courageous man with cancer of the tongue, who will tell his story and expose our relationship following Q & A last November. The ABC team have been very thorough and supportive and we are trusting them to do a good job.” – Dr Rodney Syme
