Canadian Bill for voluntary assisted dying moved in Parliament

In a very significant step forward for assisted dying law reform, a Canadian Bill to allow voluntary assisted dying was moved in the Canadian Parliament on 14 September by the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The Canadian Bill is very similar to the 2013 Tasmanian Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill and the likely 2016 Bill. For more details including a comparison of the Bills, go to the section Canada Shows the Way. We will report updates here or on our Facebook page.
