Compassion and respect

Listen to Nica and Gideon Cordover

Robert Cordover had motor neurone disease – surely one of the cruellest of diseases.  His loving family including his wife, Nica, and son, Gideon, are among the most passionate of supporters for a voluntary assisted dying law that would be provided by the new Tasmanian Bill.  You can read more of Robert’s story here and Gideon’s experience here.

As we all know, great harm is  being done not just to the person who has to suffer for an unnecessarily prolonged period at the end of their lives.  It’s also to the people who love them and have to watch them go through what Robert called ‘torture’.
