One of the priorities of DwDTas is to encourage and help people to express their wishes and do advance care and end-of-life planning. Palliative Care Australia have today announced the results of a survey that shows how important our work is on this matter.
The survey shows that only 15 per cent of those who died had left a detailed plan for their relatives. We agree with the President, Professor Yates, that the figures highlight just how important it is for people to talk about death. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-05-20/australians-dont-discuss-their-dying-wishes/4699458
