Compassion and respect

Talking about death – Paper Garments for the Grave.

If you’re in Hobart, we recommend you visit the very interesting exhibition on now at the Barn at Rosny.

The exhibition, Paper Garments for the Grave, approaches death from a unique perspective.  According to the publicity:

These artists and this exhibition have sought to lift the veil on dying and to ask us instead to embrace it, to contemplate our own lives and importantly to start speaking; to bring our understanding of dying back to being another part of living.

The exhibition has been funded and organised by Tasmanian Association of Hospice and Palliative Care  (TAHPC) and further support has been given by UTAS and Burnie City Council.  For more information, go to the Clarence Council webpage about the exhibition.

Update: Opening hours are Wed – Sun, 11 – 5.
