Bequest to Dying With Dignity Tasmania

Would you consider a bequest to Dying with Dignity Tasmania?

After approximately 30 years of work by Dying with Dignity Tasmania, we now have the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021.  But this does not mean that our work is done!

DWDT has been sustained for the past 30 years by volunteer committee members, membership fees, kind donations and a recent bequest.

It is very important that DWDT is around for many decades to come.  This is necessary to protect our Act and ensure it is not ‘watered’ down or even overturned.  We would also like to see our Act enhanced to enable people with life limiting illnesses have a greater choice over how their life ends.

DWDT has no paid employees, as all Committee members are volunteers.  However, it costs money to maintain our website, conduct our business and support our advocacy.

Apart from your ongoing membership, would you please consider supporting Dying with Dignity Tas Inc by making a gift/bequest, however small, in your Will?

Please seek your own legal advice on this.
